SOURCES OF INFORMATION.
What sources of information would you use to get to know:
1. - What will the weather be like in London tomorrow?
2. - What are the names of your great grandparents?
3. - What is the meaning of the word "browser"?
4. - What are the latest news about coronavirus in Spain?
5. - When and where the bicycle was invented?
And now think of your parents.
Did they use the same sources of information when they were your age to get the answers to these questions?
What sources did your parents use? Write your answers in the blog.
Has the way we get information changed?
Today we're going to evaluate two sources of information: the Internet and the Library.
Which is better to find information?
I'm sure that everybody of you has used the World Wide Web (WWW) in order to search different types of information.
Remember, World Wide Web (WWW) is a system where information is stored and shared on different pages.
Most web pages or sites contain links to other related pages, source documents, definitions and other web resources. Therefore we always have the opportunity to broaden and widen our knowledge with a simple click on a link.

ResponderEliminarApart from books there were and still there're other sources of information, such as TV, radio, newspapers, museums, people... I don't think your parents looked up the information about the weather in a book. Or they went to a library to find out the names of their great-grandparents...
