Today we're going to start the unit 7 and talk about:
Why do people move to new places?
Think about these questions:
1. Do you know anyone who has moved? Why did they move?
2. What do you think would be difficult about moving to another country?
3. What do you think would be fun about moving to another country?
4. Have you ever moved house?
5. Would you like to live in another country? Where?
6. What countries would you like to visit?
Very often people move to new places because of their jobs.

Read the sentences in the exercise 1. Watch Jerome's video again and correct the sentences.

3. American versus British English
Sometimes British people find it really confusing to live in the USA because of the differences in vocabulary between British and American English.
For example, in the UK the postman brings you your letters, while in America they wait for the mailman to come. In Britain you buy sweets when you want to cheer yourself up but in America you go to get some candy.
Watch this video to learn more about these differences.
