MODERN TECHNOLOGY IN ART AND MUSIC.

Modern technology has changed the way artists work. Many artists now use computer software to produce their work. The software transforms their movements into a digital image that is shown on the computer screen.

I am not an artist but I tried to draw this rainbow using computer software. In this case I used a "Paint application" that is included in Windows. 

Today I want you to be digital artists too and use this application or any other (I'm sure some of you have very professional ones) to create your digital rainbow or any digital image you want.

Would you be able to match my digital work of art?

If you have Windows, just follow these steps to get the app:
1. Go to the left bottom of your screen and in the box Escribe aquí para buscar write "Paint" and the link will appear instantly. 
2. Click on the link and it will take you directly to the app. 

Once there you can find diffent tools to use: paint brushes (pinceles), forms, colours... Browse, explore, try and create your masterpiece.

When you finish, click on the File Access tab and save your picture as JPG image. (pulsar la pestaña Archivo y guardar su dibujo Guardar como IMAGEN JPG). 
Finally, email it to me. I will post all your pictures in our blog art gallery. 

MUSIC

Modern technology also changed the way  musicians work. They use software and computers to mix different tracks to produce new versions of a song. Instruments can be added or removed from the recording. They experiment with sounds by using modern technology.In this video you can see  musicians trying one of the newest advances in music, a touch-sensitive DJ table.
